In this zine the dinosaur rides a bicycle, eats, and sleeps. Happy and melancholic moments have been captured in the drawings by Alex Schauwecker. Sometimes, the dinosaur is also confused. This is the everyday poetry of a dinosaur’s life. The zine Here Comes the Story of the Dinosaur is part of a set together with the 7-inch vinyl single of the same name (sold individually).

Alex Schauwecker is an artist and musician born in Kyoto in 1982 and based in Zurich. His work moves between drawing, storytelling, and music. In his stories the protagonists sometimes are whales, wolves or dinosaurs. These animals are archaic beings for the artist, with whom he can identify. They do not live in nature far away from civilization, but move around in an urban environment. They must steadily face the challenges of today's life and find their way.
