Spontaneous Architecture is a selection of architectural doodles drawn between 2020 and 2026, collected from a number of sketchbooks. Created intuitively and without premeditation, these drawings emerged as a form of relaxation, often while sitting in the kitchen with a cup of tea or at a café.
Jon Koko is a Swedish artist working with painting, paper objects, and drawing. His work often begins with simple observations from everyday life, such as small details, ordinary places, or accidental forms that catch his attention. Working intuitively, he develops these observations into drawings, paintings, and paper objects that exist somewhere between the familiar and the imagined.
