Fergus Purcell (Amersham, 1970), widely known as FERGADELIC is one of the most eclectic and prolific London based artists. Homemade tattooist, creator of the cult t-shirt label Tonite, performer with Chrome Hoof and 5 Mic Cluster, Fergus finds a lot of his inspiration through people, music, food, movies, books and in the works of artists like Magritte, Jack Kirkby, Moebius, Richard Corben, Mike McMahon and EYE.
His distinctive style comes from mixing techniques he learned when he was a kid in the 70s’, like airbrushing, marker illustration, Letraset with a scalpel, Letratone and Rotring pen technical drawing, with the modern digital equipments available nowadays. He forms the art collective THE CHANGES with Misha Hollenbach & Shauna Toohey (P.A.M.) and Sk8Thing (A Bathing Ape) and his unique illustrations have brought him extensive collaborations with companies like Silas, Hysteric Glamour, P.A.M. and X-Girl.
