Solvik is a drawing collaboration between the Swiss illustrators and artists Lina Müller & Luca Schenardi. In early autumn they spent time in a small cabin in the Alps, drawing all day long while wishfully dreaming of the time they were strolling through endless Swedish woods during two artist residencies in 2016 and 2018. The surroundings of the alpine cabin joined the scandinavian memories. Chalk rocks were falling on endless forest roads and started to build their own formations. Solvik is a trip through different realities, captured by hundreds of black pen lines and even more dots. All drawings are printed in their original size. By the way: The tiny sleeping village Solvik is located in a forest glade in Dalsland and reachable by a tremendous long road.

Lina Müller and Luca Schenardi live and work in Altdorf, Switzerland. Their work has a focus on commercial illustration with a high artistic claim and ranges from personal projects including drawing and painting to self-publishing and producing limited goods. To collaborate on exclusive artistic projects, they started to sort of properly "paper-share" in 2014 in a camping bus while traveling through France and Spain. Since then, they regularly take time for their collective drawing work.
