Paper Poems “started as a collection of new work made using paper, and gradually became a poem made using debris from workings of the booklet. There's a visual index/poem towards back pages, and the contents are visible working components. It's also an homage to paper, and a much more practical way of making a portable museum than before.”

Rick’s most known project is the Funnel Vision Portable Museum which was first shown at the Liverpool Biennial in 2004.

A special edition version, with a signed and numbered box, four paper flags, and a sculpture, is published under the title Index / Debris.
